Our NC state voter base has been losing Dems to Republicans and Unaffiliateds over the past couple of years or so:
Just posted yesterday from David Goetz (Major Dave) on FB who tracks NC Election data:
"Democrats shed an additional -457 net loss of voters this week while the GOP gained another 229 and the UNA grew by 939. The DEMs currently have only 14,100 more voters on the rolls than the GOP, and at the current rate of loss, are on track to become the 3rd largest bloc of voters in NC instead of 2nd by the end of this year."
