no its not just like taxes ARE constitutional. making stupid statements like this is a testament to how little people really know.
the idea of a mortgage was that the national debt would cover your loan and tarrifs would cover the national debt.
the scam here is that they were supposed to give you that money. what do they do instead? they kept it, lend it to you and charged you interest.
we used to tax foreigners for the benefit of our people, now its reversed. trumps reversing it back.
