Their money is regarded by them as an investment. It goes into things that can get real money from the government to complete the funding. That is the point of the climate scam. It is touted as a global problem which, therefore, requires a global solution. Global solutions need global funding so what better than a world tax?
They have the UN in place, the IMF and World Bank, so all the bureaucrats are in place to run a world tax. It is dressed up as a "carbon credit" scheme and we need it to "save the planet." So, billionaires' money not required just a global tax. This is a work in progress.
The EPA had a good scam going as well. It works like this:
Government wants to control something;
They dream up an environmental reason to have that control.
The government then goes to the EPA, with a plan and some money;
The EPA then finds a small environmental organisation that they can bribe into suing the EPA over said issue.
This organisation has all its expenses paid by the EPA.
The EPA loses the case and they use that as a reason to ask the government to apply controls.
The government pretends to reluctantly comply.
Again, only taxpayers' money required to cover all expenses plus inducements.
A more blatant way of doing something similar is by using taxpayer funded NGO’s to lobby for “public wishes”.
These NGO’s are used as an attack vector by the commie bureaucrats who can claim it wasn’t them that wanted X to happen, they just passed those laws in the interests of the people.
These NGO’s whole system has been subverted and corrupted.
