then a follow up question is why is the talmud in every single synagogue in America and if it isn't that important you won't mind if I burn it?
You are confusing the Torah with the Talmud - It isn't : at least according to wikipedia, which is pretty reliable on this sort of thing: Many will have a Torah Scroll, and a copy of the Mishnah (commentary on Torah) but as far as the Talmud, that is likely to be as limited (because of the sheer volume) to the Orthodox and ultra-Orthodox as well. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synagogue
Honestly, I as a Christian who empathizes with both my Messianic Jewish (Jews who believe in Jesus) brothers and sisters, and Jewish Conservatives like Dennis Prager, would not have a problem with you burning a Talmud, under a few conditions, as I hold to the Zero Aggression Principle (also known as the Non Aggression Principle, or NAP)
You acquire it without aggression
You explain why you believe it needs to be burned
You endanger no lives, including your own, in the process
lol you just unironically used WP as a source and then gave me rules
hows the weather in Tel Aviv today?
i can tell you what it's like down South USA - Sunny and 83.
I'm not there.
