Other spellings like Muhammed, Mohamed, Mohamad, Muhamad, Muhamed, Mohummed, Mohammod, and hyphenated forms (e.g., Muhammad-Ibrahim, Muhammad-Musa) exist but did not rank in the top 100, so exact counts for these are not provided in the ONS top 100 dataset. The ONS notes that combining all variations would make Muhammad the most popular name overall, with an estimated 7,730 boys named some form of Muhammad in 2023 (about 1 in 40 boys). For comparison, Noah, the second most popular name, had 4,382 registrations
