I thought the big beautiful bill eliminated tax on social security.

That didn’t happen, they wanted to give seniors $4000.00 every year for only 4 years, in other words 4 grand with a sunset clause so that they could use it to try to get re-elected. That’s what is in the bill. Massie has created a new bill to eliminate tax on SocialSecurity for seniors and make it permanent. That’s what Trump wanted.
