On one hand I believe someone involved in a global intel op like Epstein would have been trained to commit suicide if he was captured. On the other hand, I think a guy like Epstein would be arrogant enough to think he would talk his way out of any situation. But, without a doubt I believe a lot of people wanted him dead.
What was weird to me is Patel and Bongino were so unconvincing, it seemed intentional. Like, they didn’t want to be believed.
That has me believing they were asked the wrong question. They should have be asked is Epstein still alive? And, maybe their poor job of selling their story was done to keep the black hats off balance, because their worst fear is Epstein is alive and singing like a bird.
Patel couldn't hold eye contact with the interviewer when he was talking. If you review his 'older' interviews when he was Crossfire investigator and during his confirmation hearings, he always had nearly unbroken eye contact and low blink rate with an interviewer when he was both speaking and listening.
2 Bongino looked like he was going to throw up the whole time Patel was talking. That man has a conscience, a good relationship with God (esp since his Ca scare) and was wishing he was anywhere but 'there' during that whole interview. His only statements 'it was a suicide' and 'I saw the file'.
If I were to make a wag, I'd say that both were purposely handed 'prepared versions' of the Epstein file with 'evidence' and 'facts' leading one to conclude that suicide was the only possible fit. That way, they could both reference 'his file' and make the statements they made to help them try to sound convincing in the interview. If Epstein is in witness security then, of course, there will be a 'published' file showing the 'suicide' facts, even within the FBI.
I don't want to see the evidence! I would read a summary of the charges, but even reading about the vile things those people did would imprint on my brain and I don't want to add that to things already there that I wish I hadn't seen!
