Excepting that few are eaten. Heard of anyone eaten by a bear, these days? Or a cougar? Or an alligator? My Zambian wife, relocated to the Pacific Northwest with its wild mountains and trees was concerned about the potentially dangerous wildlife: squirrels, raccoons, opossums, coyotes... We laugh about it now. You have all the prejudices of someone who knows Africa only from the Tarzan movies.
