Welp. I don't wish to cheat.
For me, "God wins" is stating the obvious, since I believe God is all-knowing and TRUTH and everlasting and immutable and infinite. He is Almighty and Creator of All. He is loving and merciful and full of grace. No creation can be greater than its creator, therefore it is impossible for anything of man to be greater than God. So, "God wins" is a shorter way of saying that everything about God is superior to everything about (fallen) man.
Another way to put it is "It is futile to go against God."
IMHO.
