NAD is how I preserved my child’s liver after a full failure due to medication. Combined with Castor Packs and ALA. I will look into this as a support possibility thank you for posting
I am not familiar with Oxandrin but that sounds about right. If it weren’t for right to try the chemo that caused secondary cancer and didn’t help would have been our only choice. The doctors fought me tooth and nail until I revealed I had discovered their kick backs for that program. There are really good doctors out there but the system isn’t designed to heal and far too many either benefiting and or unwilling to face their own mistakes to fix it. Praying for you as well. Look into ALA as well it helped somewhat for joint pain but it mainly helped with cholesterol clean up and omega 3s worked wonders for my dog😉 but you gotta watch for blood thinners with that or the hood getting too thin.
If the body increases cholesterol production why would you want to fight it. Cholesterol increase CAN indicate damaged arterial lining because cholesterol goes where the damage is. It’s like blaming firefighters for a fire.
If you”lower your cholesterol” and don’t change whatever is causing the damage seems it would make matters worse.
Removing cholesterol won’t fix the damage done by bad diet, alcohol, smoking, etc.
I think most people prob don't need a bunch of supplements. But it does seem like for particular situations like this you can give your body what it needs to self repair.
Even cancer now is being totally rethought as your body's immune system to be deficient and unable to to fight the amount of cancer cells inside it. Immunotherapy and nutritional cures are having great success for this reason.
I have seen naturopathy do what system doctors couldn’t for sure. Documented and I personally feel that support of the body is absolutely the way to go. The right supplements are important for sure if addressing specific issues. Quality absolutely matters and that is not always related to price. Research where they are made and reviews if possible definitely not giving medical advice btw js
