I’m sure if - heaven forbid - if something happens to Putin - they will have a succession plan in place and while Putin is restrained at present, any minute those restraints will come off but rest assured, his successor will not be so restrained. Putin is extremely popular, but the Russian citizens themselves will demand not just the eradication of Ukraine, but even those that has supported it for some 10 years. What many in the west and EU/UK don’t seem to understand is that the Russian people - including Putin and his Cabinet- is that their faith in God is No 1 and that if they die they will go to be with their Heavenly Father. They will gladly die to protect their Motherland. You cannot fight against that faith. The videos on the Akhmat Special Forces is an eye opener.
