I don't know about the rest of you, but I have a rule concerning whatever I read or see in the media: I take the information in but don't for one minute think I'm getting a full or accurate account of what happened.
Maybe, but probably not. At least SOME important details get left out in most cases, I'm certain, even assuming the story isn't intentional disinformation in the first place.
So maybe the TSA was acting like jack-booted thugs in this case, or maybe they had good reason to treat the "victim" as they did, and for that matter maybe how they treated her wasn't much at all as implied in the story.
Getting strip-searched and thrown in prison for even a single night for nothing more than having more luggage than usual -- have you seen my wife's idea of what's needed on a three-week trip? -- but again, I have are the details given in the story. It SOUNDS pretty damn harsh and unusual -- sounds like a major over-reaction, honeslty -- but for all I know, the TSA was being perfectly realistic.
She probably threw a fit like a retarded bitch which prompted more scrutiny "because screaming bitch".
Yes, avoid America, please. We urge all "travellers" to avoid the United States.
Why is she a 'former' police officer at only 25 years old? She couldn't have been on the job for long before she became 'former'.
Yeah, there's got to be more to that story.. lol

Here's the story in the Daily Mail:

She was visiting her American Husband? Must be a long distance marriage. What is the point of the marriage if they live in different countries?
I've had this story thrown at me from a few liberal friends already as well
Tell them you want the TSA abolished.
