i guess i’m left wondering why we even have girls sports at all? it seems rather patronizing to make sex segregated sports, under the assumption that boys have some innate advantage over girls.
if they want equality, then lets just ditch girls sports altogether, and if the girls don’t qualify because the boys get all the top slots, well then thats on the girls to suck it up and try harder next time.
we aren’t teaching girls a good lesson when we heavily imply they arent good enough to compete in boys sports.
Surely if a boy competing in girls sports isnt a problem, then girls competing in boys sports wont be a problem either
any argument that can be made to segregate sports by sexes, could also be applied to make the case for segregation by race… right?

As far as I know, there are no race restrictions in any sports. If you want to make the ridiculous argument that biological sex doesn't matter, then you will probably support eliminating age restrictions as well. There's lots of T-ball and grade school swim teams left for sad, pathetic mediocre male athletes to dominate once they eliminate women and girls from sports.

Massive idea: Cross leagues. Men's teams dress as women to compete. Appeals to everyone. Our coaches did it in high school. It was huge.
