Just talk to Jesus like a Friend, tell Him where you are at and most importantly that you want to accept Him by faith. He will do the rest. No one's situation is too bad or too difficult for Him. Just trust in Him.
Buy yourself a King James bible and read it from cover to cover (over and over again) each day (you might want to start in the gospel of John and the book of Romans at first). Find a local King James bible believing church - there you will get fellowship and the support from other believers that you need to grow in the Lord.
I will pray for you that you will trust the Lord and accept Him today. If you have any questions DM me, I'd be glad to help you.
That is a wonderful post and I want to thank you for taking the time and effort to post it. I love to see the Lord working through us to reach others and bring them to faith.
The NASB 1995 translation is a perverted bible translation! See my examples of perversion document. This document references the NASB version not the NASB 1995 specifically but most of the examples are true for the NASB 1995 version as well with John 3:16 being an exception.
For me, the litmus test is Colossians 1:14
in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. (NASB 1995)
versus
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: (KJV)
Why would a bible translator remove "through his blood"?
Why would they remove "omnipotent", "Godhead", "sodomite" (1 reference vs 5 in the KJV), "Holy Ghost", "Jesus Christ" (appears only 236 times vs 258 times in KJV) and hell (15 times vs 54 times in KJV).
CONCLUSIONS:
NASB 1995 does not want redemption through the blood of Jesus. It promotes a bloodless salvation!
It wants you to believe that Joseph is the father of Jesus (Luke 2:33)
It undermines the Diety of the Lord throughout by eliminating references to "Jesus Christ"
It attempts to soften the message by eliminating references to "hell"
It tries to obfuscate that sodomy is sin by removing 4 of the 5 occurrences of the word sodomite.
Knowing that Jesus is real and accepting Him as your personal Saviour are two different things.
I urge you to read my post If you died today...
