Rand Paul is a Patriot and his heart and intellect are in the right place as he reasonably discerns it. He does have practical and constructive ideas -- such to stop endless deficit spending. I believe in Trump, I am grateful for Rand Paul too.

Paul's principles are correct. They're also politically unviable. They can't pass through Congress. Too corrupt.
Trump's solution is to outgrow the problem and give We the People more time to vote out the problem children. He's making an end-run around Congress by starving the IRS, de-regulating and begging any company he can to build in the US. He's going to juice the economy because it's the only feasible way in the long-term to handle the debt. 1-2% annual growth is a death sentence. The debt grows faster. Paul's sitting here whining about drops in the bucket instead of seeing the larger picture: the giant hole in the bottom of it. Either we get a much bigger bucket and fill it while we're trying to patch the hole, or it'll be empty.
Paul's in the way right now. Right principles, but a total absence of necessary pragmatism.
