In any competent system I've ever worked on this would not be allowed. There is NO WAY end users get access to the SQL database other than for read only operations. The database should ideally be an "archive only" database where only inserts are allowed and updates are forbidden.
They also helpfully say of some of their SQL commands "please, do not use this script during active elections." Motherfucker.. how is it possible to use it during active elections? What the hell?
