I don't believe anything unless I see the original source. In this age of AI, there is no proof anything is real anymore.

We need a train fag, but to me that looks like a number they can designate. And that is the number I would choose.

Why does it surprise anybody? The US Army was founded on 14 June 1775 - around 249 years ago. So they rounded up to 1776 to honour the occasion.
