First, an illustrative analogy. In ice hockey, the rules protect goaltenders from body contact, due to their greatly reduced mobility. While slight incidental contact is allowed, players are required to make every effort to avoid the goalie—and that effort must be VISIBLE to officials to avoid a penalty for goaltender interference.

Elon and Trump have each other's phone numbers. They could have had their entire discussion about the Big Beautiful Bill in complete privacy. Instead they took it public. That alone tells you something is up.

Now. When Elon first publicly griped about the pork in the bill being disgusting—which was, notably, NOT a personal attack against the president, only against excess spending—Trump didn't even try to avoid hitting the goalie. He instead went personal.

If he had WANTED to visibly make every effort to avoid conflict at this critical juncture, to be seen as trying to keep things cozy, he could have posted something like:

Elon, a brilliant guy, is RIGHT AGAIN! Even though the Big Beautiful Bill does cut $1.6 Trillion from the deficit, we would ALL love to see more cuts in non-essential spending. After all, spending less while making more money for our Country is a good thing! Of course everyone knows (especially those who have read my most famous book, The Art of the Deal!), neither side gets everything they want in a negotiation—particularly in DC. So, some give and take is logically necessary. This bill absolutely MUST PASS to avoid the biggest tax increase in American history, which would be a disaster for our Nation. Elon and I agree, we both want more spending cuts. The good news is, the major economic growth that is coming fast will more than compensate. Have faith in America, and welcome to the Golden Age! Thank you!

The fact that he chose NOT to even give the appearance of keeping the partnership tight IMHO proves his clear intent to create a public-discord reality show for some reason.

Then, here's Elon flattening the netminder too. Piling on with the bizarre claim 'DJT is in the Epstein files, so there! Nanny nanny boo-boo,' publicly taking his ball and going home, gives even more evidence of clear collusion between the two multibillionaire patriots.

Musk must know that, if it were even remotely true that Trump was a child rapist, it would have been relentlessly hammered into the public consciousness by the media ages ago to obliterate all re-election hopes. The notion that the left would try to silence, de-platform, impugn, impeach, indict, imprison, disenfranchise, and assassinate the man in public, but would conceal his penchant for child abuse, is patently absurd on its face. The legal term is "frivolous", meaning not worth even taking seriously, let alone examining. Case dismissed.

This proves that Elon's over-the-top breakup rhetoric, like Trump's, is also premeditated rather than a spontaneous lashing out like an autistic child at nap time. They carefully planned this together.
