She's healthy but just confused about where the other cat is. She doesn't understand. She had never been alone before because she always had the older cat. Now she doesn't like me to leave home.
Do you think it would help to get another cat?
I don't think she'd accept another pet into the household. She's always been the baby and she liked her place in the family. It's just extra hard on her because 1-1/2years ago my human daughter (they were her cats) walked out on us after her boyfriend was released from jail for felon assault on me (he shoved me to the ground with such backward force that when my wrist hit the ground every bone was broken and I have metal holding it together and nerve damage) The younger cat had adored her human sister.
We'll get through it together. Just like we adapted when the human child (now 21 years old) left.
Thank you for caring! π·
The fact of his abuse of you should be (and have been!) a huge red flag to her! I'm praying that she comes to her senses before he does worse to her!
That's what I worry about. I'm a big woman (5'9") and she's 5'5" and 105 pounds. If she was shoved with the same force, her back would have been broken. When I realized what happened (i may have blacked out when my head hit the ground), my concern was for the back of my head, my neck, and my back. When I sat up, I saw my wrist was badly dislocated. At the hospital is when I found out the wrist was badly broken and my neck and back were bruised. The trial is at the end of the year. I pray for a conviction. I told the DA that I want a conviction so the next victim can point to the prior conviction. We all know that there had to be victims before me despite no record of them and that there will be victims after me. So we need the first conviction.
Oh my, prayers for all you've endured.ππ€
