I live in North Georgia, a couple miles away from a National Guard armory. I’ve driven past it multiple times in the past and the parking lot is typically empty with the exception of a few recruiters’ personal cars because they have an office attached there. But starting a few days before the L.A. shenanigans began, the parking lot has been consistently full of personal vehicles. I can only assume these are National Guardsmen reporting in, because the lot is controlled-access and there are signs posted out front that public parking is strictly prohibited. Could this possibly be them prepping to be deployed to Atlanta for “riot control” aka make arrests in a controlled manner? Or is this just their “two weeks of training” in the summer that they always do? Let me know what you think.

Didn't the DJT admin request that ALL NG units be on "standby"?
Executive Order 13912
Thanks for the check in Patriot! We appreciate the news.
Probably both.
Two weeks of training in riot control for possible deployment wherever needed.
Probably their 2 weeks of training. Can’t really call up the Guard in an out of the ordinary situation. And not have it start raising questions and have leaks occurring via Family/Friends of the Guardsmen. Who’d know their loved one has been called up out of the blue.
Though I’m not sure about Georgia. But Guard Armories can sometimes double as staging areas/Training posts for Reservists.
So it could be Reservists getting their training in instead of the National Guard.
