You really don't know what that phrase signifies. It may mean "We save Israel for last, because we need to resolve all the global problems first in order to assure that they have a peaceful and prosperous existence." Wouldn't it be a complete lark if that turned out to be what it meant?

This guy was fine with the USS Liberty being attacked by Israel. He told me it wasn’t a big deal. He will do whatever mental gymnastics it takes to defend Israel.
