However in long therm nuclear Israhell ruining its neighbors with impunity is larger problem,as situation where only Israhell has nukes on middle east = criminal having gun, and everybody having nukes looks like potential for the problem level: mexican gangs getting more guns than people in Texas have.
Logically... if you were a leader of a country. And you saw other countries stocking up on Nukes.
Would you just let that happen without trying to develop your own?

I would. Silly question to ask if answer is obvious.
But I wouldn't be astonished others,especially those who have it and want me under their boot would not like it. And I wouldn't for sure threat to use it against them before I have it.
And
You missed the point. I explained it above. It is all about subjugation and control.
BUT Iran government made it easier as they already lost propaganda war as they become framed as "crazy regime of religious fanatics". Most probably because: a) Their leaders are moSSad agents b) Their leaders are absolute imbeciles, morons working hard to get Darwin's award. I guess it is rather answer "a",as even north korea got more allies and have propaganda working better.
Seems to have been the happy fate of all the other countries in the Western Hemisphere. No one fears the U.S. nuking them, despite disagreements and antagonisms. No one was threatening Iran. They had their missile war with Iraq, but neither of them used nukes. I doubt they are fearful of Pakistan or India or Russia.
Your question has plenty of "yes" answers. So, logically, it is an open question.
