My point here.
Do not lecture other countries when we have used them in the past. It's basic logic here.
If Country A develops Nukes. Then Countries B, C, D will also do the same.
Depends on the relationships between the countries, their technical capacity, and the range capabilities. We have no fear of the UK, France, Israel, Pakistan, or India. Neither Canada nor Mexico have developed nukes, nor anyone in Central or South America. Plenty of alphabet countries in our hemisphere who have not developed nukes, so your syllogism is not universal.
Don't mistake me. I think keeping nations from nuclear weapons is as futile as keeping them from gunpowder.
It is perfectly valid to lecture someone on a path we know something about. It depends on what the lecture is about.
