Exactly. Educated idiots are what many are. Some of the smartest people I know never went to college. Why? Because they were too smart to do that.
One friend became an apprentice and learned to operate heavy equipment like bulldozers and cranes immediately after graduating high school. He was earning top pay within 2 years. He saved his money and invested in real estate and stocks before he was 20 yrs. old. He did this for most of his life and amassed a fortune.
His brother went into the Army and learned electronics. He was so smart that he worked for a major defense contractor as an engineer and senior engineer without getting a formal diploma. He knew more at 22 yrs old than any peer newly graduating with an electrical engineering degree. He stayed with the same company and quickly moved up the ladder. His loyalty and innate abilities made him a very good living with no college debt or indoctrination.
I agree, but unfortunately intelligence (and/or knowledge) is no guarantee of wisdom...
Just visit a university to find a bunch of 'intelligent' fools filled with knowledge.
Wisdom and intelligence are two separate things.
Kinda like law and justice.
I like where this is going. I only wish the average intellectual could understand it.
Intelligent is like the ability to process. Wisdom is the end result.
huh?
