it'll be interesting to see if Tether/USDT survives under this bill. If Tether is deemed uncompliant or illegal under the new law, that would not only affect people trading crypto in margin accounts, but also cause currently-obscure USD stablecoins to have a chance at taking over Tether's market.

USDC/Circle would be one candidate but RLUSD is probably going to challenge them, if not acquire them outright.
