Those billionaires are not so altruistic as to use their own resources and money when they could just dip into shake down money from taxpayers. The (D)s are going into debt now. This happens because their billionaires lost big on their investments in (D)s in 2024 and there is no coherent leadership in the (D) party to inspire them to separate from their balance sheets. Ironically, I suspect that Trump's policies are actually making them more money doing it the honest way vs. relying on the failed performance of (and now powerless) corrupt (D) politicians putting their thumbs on the scale.
