This USAID thing goes far everywhere. In Ireland and I know a Chinese woman (who is not an Irish citizen) who is employed by an Irish charity company that is funded by USAID. She had to worry about losing her job after the DOGE cuts, but thankfully kept hers.

Yeah my parents have some contacts trying to get some statistics roles for me. Overall job market is still bad though, slightly better than last year to be fair, but still terrible

Sadly today, someone studying Lesbian dance theory would have a better chance at obtaining a job in the US than someone in tech and finance.
I assume it's the government that funds all these shit-jobs, which explains why people in ESG get so much money.
