That is correct. And Israel has been willing to live without conflict with surrounding neighbors, but whether Sunni or Shia Islam is incapable of doing so, and mainly due to their eschatology. There will never cease to be radical and terrorist pop-ups from Iran, Iraq, etc. for the purpose of a global caliphate with Israel as their primary/first target and means to accomplishing their end goal. Assyria tried their hand for their own means in the time of Isaiah and they fail miserably. Since that time, all enemies have failed to conquer and wipe out Israel.

Every time a neighboring enemy attacks Yahweh’s covenant people, He operates with His providence (and occasionally an obvious divine intervention) to both protect Israel and punish her enemies. A similar thing happens here when people perpetuate the false narrative that Yahweh blesses and supports the U.S. for “saving Israel for last” in the context of punishment/control. And when Iran becomes a parking lot, cognitive dissonance and some serious X22-level ignorance will make people scream, “Iran has Israel EXACTLY where we (and God) want them. SEE? we are winning!”
