I rewatched part of the inauguration recently. Nobody there, even of the left wing politicians, thinks he's Hitler, that they're standing and applauding for the inauguration of Hitler.
If he were Hitler, they wouldn't hate him; they'd try to recruit him. They hate him because he is the anti-Hitler. The Peacemaker.
