Precedent was set by Democrats for military action without congressional oversight. Clinton and Obama both didn't ask Congress to go to war over things.

Just because the president isn't on your side of the aisle doesn't mean you get to cry off about unilateral short term military action all of a sudden when none of y'all cried out when your side did it.
