I lived in Collin County for 25 years and just recently moved just outside the county. I know kids who were at that meet, including one who was an eye-witness (I have not asked what she saw due to the trauma).
I have also heard that there is video evidence that there was no deliberate provocation by Metcalf during their exchange. 🤷♀️
Knowing Collin County as I do, as well as the recent influx of diversity, I am fairly certain that this will be a pretty solid case.
I still live in Collin County and my niece was supposed to be at the track meet, but her event got moved to the next day which was then delayed over a week. According to what I have been told, Anthony was not at the track meet to participate and he did not ride on the school bus. He skipped school and took a weapon to the track meet with the intent to do harm. I don’t know how anyone could come to any other conclusion other than first-degree murder. Let the riots begin.
