This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.

I hope you guys bring cookies and goodies to the officials working on this. Gotta show them some love.
I've discussed this with my wife and played it out in my head several times, was worried they would reject my offer of donuts or whatever out of fear of getting poisoned(irrational thought on my part maybe?).
BTW, when I give strangers gifts I prefer to give stuff thats wrapped (and prefer to receive the same as well), so that everything is safe and sound.
I mean dont walk in suspiciously and dont make stupid jokes like "Eh, I didnt poison this dont worry ... hehe" 😂
I actually did this long ago when I worked at American Express. I made a whole bunch of chocolate chip cookies for Christmas. Way more than my wife and I could eat. So I loaded them on a big plate, put them on the table in the aisle close to the call center with a sign that said, "NON-POISONOUS COOKIES. TAKE ONE!" Nobody took any until I removed that sign. Come on, people! It's guaranteed not to be poisonous! I guess they preferred not knowing if they'd die from the cookies.
Oh boy. These days people have no sense of humour and you would get arrested immediately lol

You have a valid point with the craziness going on. Maybe you could send them a delivery from a reputable restaurant and let them know it's coming and who sent it.

Forgot to mention, use the restaurant's own delivery service with marked cars. Not ubereats, doordash or anything like that.
