I thought the John Robert's supreme court already struck another states similar laws down some years back?
(Not to mention the 70?s supreme court striking them down with a blanket moratorium on the death penalty on anything, along with removing the death penalty for rape that many if not most states had for rape at the time)
These laws are necessary though to avoid becoming like London.(not to mention just, it is child abuse to make their victims potentially have to face their former rapists, which is a possibility with the relatively short penalties that judges often give them in most places)
