Seems I need to study this out more. I thought there was XX, XY & XXY occasionally.
I was unaware of XYY, XXX & a simple X
If this is the case, do XXY have mostly female traits with some male? Do XYY have hyper masculine traits? That XXX sounds like either a terrible time, or a crazy party depending on the situation & the point of the cycle they may be in. A simple X... sounds lonely & like they are missing their better half.
All all joking aside, if these do present issues by naming chromosomes, then there could be a niche that caters to those rare situations on a case by case basis.
Edit - Thank you for giving me something to dig into.
Edit 2- Seems even a single Y makes you a male (with the basic query results I looked at). I don't see any reason a single Y in your chromosomes doesn't make an individual a male at this point. Am I missing something?
