I experienced a huge increase in ticks recently. My son and I went hiking on a pretty clear trail and we found around 7 ticks on our legs throughout the hike. It was really concerning. Never seen so many.
Guinea hens - they eat them. It's said a few of them can keep a property clear of ticks.
Except they are stupid birds that fly over fences and ours all got eaten by predators. We had 12 of them for that purpose.
They're loud too. But they do work on the ticks!

I know a lady who is highly allergic to red mammalian meat and can only eat poultry and fish.
