Foreign investment and development, if it's a good fit, is a good thing. But they should only ever be able to lease land (and the money from that should go 100% towards offsetting property tax). US citizens should then be given first dibs on buying the land after the lease is up.
It blows my mind that we allow any foreigners to own any US land at all!
