To have made all the changes and events occur in a few short weeks or months, like often happens in violent revolutions, would leave our society shaken and vulnerable to all kinds of bad actors; so it makes sense to PLAN it out like a 3-act movie.
Another lens through which to view current events is laid out in the 1997 book, "The Fourth Turning." We are at the end of this current Fourth Turning, a 20-25 year period that the authors called a Crisis period. Past Fourth Turnings we the WWI-Depression-WWII era, and before that, the American Civil War. You can search history further back and discover other Fourth Turning eras, but at the end of each Fourth Turning (according to the authors), a climax of events occurs, sometimes violent, a "grey champion" rises to lead the people out of the Crisis, and a new First Turning emerges, a period of relative peace and prosperity... and unity.
As this turning comes to its close, I think our "grey champion" in this case is President Donald Trump. I watch these events unfold and have hope in my heart that whether "we're watching a 3-act movie" or it's the end of this Fourth Turning, we will see in the near future a Golden Age for America and the West in general.

They have been "arranged" to normalize the monstrosities being conducted by globalist bankers on humanity periodically to maintain their power and control, especially since 1889-1989 initiation of Russia takedown, and 1913 FedRes. In my opinion, they are a function of the cabal 100 year plans with embedded mini 25 year plans (worldwide) and within US, coordinated mini 16 year plans, that match Presidential cycle/terms. As I understand both the book and the theory of "The Fourth Turning," it is not something that can be manipulated or controlled. It describes a social phenomena that has apparently existed in Western culture going back hundreds, if not thousands of years. It has to do with generations and their collective reactions to the situations they find themselves born into.

Which turning one is born into will largely determine your outlook and response to it, giving that turning its characteristic. Say if one was born into the most recent First Turning (end of WWII) into a cohesive, prosperous society from 1945 up until about 1965, that person would view the world very differently and have different expectations than a person born into, say, the most recent Third Turning, roughly 1985(ish) to about 2005... we call these people Millennials, and that group has a reputation as "slackers"... cynicism, short-term thinking, just as you mentioned above.

As I looked at the 4th Turning synopsis, I couldn't help but consider - since it is a social phenomenon, that like a fractal, there are "turnings within turnings" that occur, depending on the actual turning one is in AND their personal/cohorts experience and perspective.
For instance, my boomer dad experiences each turning differently than me, someone who was riding bikes up to sev. I remember the "old world" where TV just went off after the national anthem, phones would ring in empty rooms with no answering machine and the walk through technology up to today...I have my own perspective on where things "turned" compared to my dad having different milestones as to where things turned for him and his cohorts - all the while, the "grand overall turnings" continue to cycle.
My point is that every generation has their own perspectives on where they are in the turnings and microcosms within them. I mean, who's to say what turning we're in right now?

So using that as a guide (because I did not discover the phenomenon or write the book), I think they were mostly correct in their prediction that we are now in the Fourth Turning, but very close to the end.
In fact, after Strauss died, Howe carried on the work and wrote a follow up book called "The Fourth Turning is Here" in 2023 to assess how the first book / theory held up. Having read that book too, it's fairly on point, although I think the author Howe fails to grasp just what a paradigm shift has happened in America and the West. I don't think he fully appreciates what is going on, that the Old Guard is rapidly dying off and losing its grasp on social events.
But the original book was visionary and holds up pretty good.
