There was a meme about this recently, and forgive me while I screw it up.
First frame showed a horse pulling a carriage in the old days. The last frame showed a horse in a trailer being pulled by a truck in present time.
There was other stuff but I don't remember it, and these 2 were the frames most relevant to this comment.
I have no response to that...
But it did make me laugh!
Edit: A metaphor only works as long as the reader appreciates the intention.
