If I tell someone something that isn’t true, but I had no idea it wasn’t true am I lying??
Accidents aren't ignorance its negligence.
And again ignorance isn't enough of an excuse to preclude wrong doing.
Yeah and an accident doesn’t equal lying, lying is intensional and intent defines the act.

Are you asking if it’s factually correct or are we talking morality?
If it’s morality then whose morality are we to weigh it against??
Before I woke up to reality not being what I had been told my whole life I would have been much more black and white in this area, not so much these days 🤷♂️
*I decided if I was going to thrive in the new paradigm we now find ourselves in I’ll need to be open/malleable to things I’ve never considered. That pretty much kicks thinking in terms of “black and white” right out the damn door.
