"Inspectors" probably planted the disease as directed by deep state superiors. Then implement their "improved policy" and boast about how they "protected" the people. They're probably in bed with big egg producers and work to put small guys out of business.
All conspiracy theory of course, but how do detectives begin???? With the most likely theory.
Multiple farmers reported that officials would show up and declare the flocks were positive and had to be culled, when no testing had been done at all.
Yeah, I keep hearing that egg prices are falling. Not seeing that here.
I'm in NC and they're down so much that I'm lowering my little market flock egg prices. In the supermarkets, organic was $8+ and now it's around $6. Regular eggs are just above $2.50 most weeks, free range a little higher. I'm selling between $5-6 depending on color and size, as our young ones are starting to lay. Mini new-layer eggs are $3-4, if we sell them. Where are you and what are the prices?
Central AZ, local Safeway they were $8/dozen, on sale for $5, back to $8 and now the last week on sale again $5. Dollar General has them at $4.50. Regular, not organic.
