Trump wants to keep the idea of the list out there but he doesnt want to use it just yet, because that will give the dems plenty of time to replace the bad dudes with someone who's pure as the wind driven snow. If a bad gut is out stumping for votes and the cameras are rolling when he is asked "Did you molest a six year old girl on Epsteins island like the record shows?" How will he explain that to his constituents? There is some good that can come from Trump not acknowledging the Epstein list right now. It will have more power the closer to the mid terms.

If Trump isn't in the Epstein list, the dems will claim Trump altered the docs to take himself out, and that will swing people blue in the midterms.
If Trump is in the Epstein list, the dems will use that in the midterms.
If Trump doesn't release the Epstein list, his own base will turn on him and the dems will use it in the midterms.
