The BAR. In America it seems whenever a republican (hence the 'R') goes before the bar for "disciplinary actions" they seem to lose their license. The Bar Association here (at least in Texas) seems to be only populated with democrats (hence the 'D'). That's what I mean by just dropping the 'R' and calling it the BA.
Each state has their own Bar regulations. Here is the Texas page:
I don't know why you are arguing, my original point was that Sidney is a Military JAG, which has sweet FA to do with the British Accredited Registry of lawyers.
First - Sidney is not a JAG. Never was. She was a federal prosecutor, and then she went into private practice. My point was that even if she secretly was a JAG (don't think that is even possible) if the Texas (or any other state) Bar Association took her license away she could no longer practice law in those states - whether civilian or military.
I also know that the UK Bar and the American Bar share roots but are not connected. I only mentioned the Texas Bar - which, similar to what you said has sweet FA to do with the British Accredited Registry of lawyers.
Sidney has her own problems to deal with, and I don't believe she will even get involved until her Bar case in Texas, and possibly other states that sued her) are finished. The Texas Bar screwed her once and she beat it on appeal. Now they are trying it again. No way the govt would risk her helping in any of the upcoming cases, because if she ends up disbarred it could give the other side ammo for an appeal.

The military has nothing to do with that.

Wasn't meant to be an argument.
