Yea, I had to ask my wife how the Fed Chair was appointed, thus I expected her to say the Board nominated and voted on that person, but her reply caught me off guard, thus my mea culpa. Sometimes we open our mouths with good intentions and yet they turn out to be misinformative speculations.
