New Humanoid robot can run, cartwheel and do Tai-Chi -- the category is advancing at a blistering pace. Domestic robots and military T-800 Terminators can't be far behind. Also, China seems to be leading the charge here. -(NY Post)-

Also, this one costs just $5900. On the other hand, there's no talk about anything useful it can do.

The company (like competitors) does have a more expensive model with even more capabilities. But even this model moves more realistically than anything I've seen before.

One more thing: while some think this is CGI done with AI, the company says no, this is unretouched real footage. I expect that's true, but the 72-hr rule (and common sense) reminds me that not everything we see is real.
