I love love love Dr Wallach , I have about 25 of his dead doctors don’t lie cassettes . I used to have a few hundred and gave them out to everyone but stopped handing them out about 15 years ago , hence the 25 left lol . He passed years ago correct ? Haven’t looked him up in yests but often refer to him and his DDDL lecture . Figures a vet knew the truth , he was a vet first and figured it out the truth before becoming an MD ,,,for those on her who don’t know him !
Why would you want to? People only think about the kind of elderly that really make a positive difference in the world.
Using historical figures as examples: Surely, we would have wanted Tesla or Einstein to have such a benefit. But it would also have been available to dictators and serial killers.
Would anyone really want to deal with specific criminal elements for over a hundred years? Death is a terrible thing when it takes someone we love. But dare I say a relief when it takes someone who is destructive to civilized society?
Since there would effectively be no way to regulate who would get a life prolonging program -- offhand I'd say it's a bad idea. Best to let nature take its course and eliminate the threats to society even if we miss out on having dear old granny and gramps around for a few more decades.
Jesus himself said "Nothing is impossible to those that believe" SO WHY WOULDN'T LIVING 120 OR 140 BE IMPOSSIBLE? (PROVERBS 4:22) assures us,"God's word is life to all that find it and HEALTH TO ALL THEIR FLESH" God promises in (Psalms 91:14-16) " Because (HE LOVES ME) says the Lord I will rescue him, I will protect him. For he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him, I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him, (WITH LONG LIFE) I will satisfy him and show him my salvation"". IF WE ARE HONEST WE WILL ADMIT THAT WE HAVE LEARNED, TO TRUST DOCTORS AND THE MEDICAL PROFESSION, OVER GOD. AT THE FIRST SIGN OF ANYTHING WE RUN TO A DOCTOR, INSTEAD OF GOING TO GOD. THE PROMISE OF A LONG LIFE, FROM GOD WAS BASED ON (IF WE LOVE HIM) WHEN YOU LOVE SOMEONE ISN'T THAT WHERE YOU GO AT THE FIRST SIGN OF TROUBLE, ESPECIALLY (IF AS WE SAY) WE BELIEVE GOD TO BE ALL POWERFUL.
In no particular order (would take too long to share) Nowhere did I intend or say it is foolish to go to a doctor. For example:I prayed with Terry a co-worker who doctors said needed a complete shoulder replacement. When I was sharing with Terry (by his words) I could see his faith was not at the level to believe for his healing apart from the operation. So we pray together, that God would guide the hand of the physician, that he would (heal quickly) and have (no pain) this Terry could believe for. Too long to share the whole testimony with you, but in a nutshell, after the operation, Terry took one quarter of whatever pill they gave him for pain, not because he was really in pain but because he thought he should, and never took anything after that again for pain as he had none, Terry was back at work full time in something like 2 months, and back to golfing that summer. But this testimony of what doctors can do with God's help, does not nullify the fact that Jesus said nothing is impossible to them that believe, which means if Terry truly believed that he would be healed without an operation, he would have been, it's either that or Jesus didn't know what he was talking about when he said"if you shall say to the mountain (the problem) and believe in your heart, you would have what you believe" (Mark 11:23 and 24)This is not an indictment on doctors or people who go to doctors,but Jesus did teach over and over, that we could be healed of anything by faith without a doctor.
