I'm not ready to throw Trump into the "willingly deceiving us" bin. I seriously think these things are merely inevitable pushes that any government would consider trying, especially with the way technology is today. (and of course there are still malicious actors who are banking on us falling for them)
HOWEVER, I also firmly believe that it is for these precise moments that We The People are being given back our government, as Trump said. We are supposed to command our government, if it truly is being given back to us. So we should command that this does not get passed and nothing of the sort is acceptable!
What I cannot stand is the people on our own damn side who are cheering this crap on. That part really pisses me off. Like what are you even doing here. Go live in the CCP or something 😂
Contact a local political action group, and have them arrange a meeting with your local representative to ask him to speak with his constituents debating the “we are going to monitor everyone” vs the downsides of not doing that.
Force the debate into the open.
To my comments here, while I don’t like it, I can also see where it might be both critically necessary and inevitable, and I don’t know the correct call.
Amen to that fren. Thank God this got stickied, I was like "no way, awesome!" because thats precisely why I posted it, to get it in peoples' minds and mouths. That's a good idea about the local PAC, I will see what's in my area

It needs discussion.
