That could be years of a judge getting it "right" and then just retire and drag out years of political gamesmanship. Way too easy for anyone to game this current suggestion. Significant accountability and culpability needs to be in place. What happened to judges are intended to be unbiased and unopinionated. Opinion and judge do not belong in the same sentence.
