My wife and I were preparing to leave SoCal due to education concerns for our kids until we found a Classical Christian Education school. Not easy finding one in SoCal but we did thanks to…
It was Pastor Doug Wilson, who I have followed online a bit, who introduced me to CCE.
For those curious about CCE, it’s a system that teaches the seven liberal arts which are skills that free a person to learn for themselves, direct themselves, and lead others well. They cultivate one’s reasoning skills and provide one with the tools of learning through seven arts divided into the trivium (language arts of grammar, logic, and rhetoric) and the quadrivium (four arts of mathematics or numbers: arithmetic, geometry, astronomy, and music).
What’s your opinion on the Classical Christian Education method?
