Nothing about that either. Presumably up to the owners of the pets to decide. You do know that a lot of times old pets need to be put down simply because they are old and their quality of life is getting low because the aches and pains of just being old? So if your pet is at that point, I don't see anything inherently wrong for the zoo to ask for the carcass.
