It is not falling crime rates. CA is not locking people up that should be in jail. CA, like NY, has essentially decriminalized many offenses that used to land people behind bars - like theft. Crimes have simply been redefined and punishments lowered. Also, liberal judicial systems simply release offenders back into the public rather than locking them up. Liberal DAs often chose not to prosecute - unless it is a case against a conservative that is politically career promoting. Repeat offenders are cycled through the system with no accountability. The public is under increased risk to be victimized by criminal elements with no justice. All this while the Dem politicians claim victory over statistics and saving money on prisons.
That was the case. That is true. But now, with all the illegals not in the country anymore, crime rates will drop, less traffic, less housing problems, less strain on the social services and hospitals, etc. A lot of 'less'.
You have a point. But, it will take a little time before those stats show up in the system with regards to crime rates. Absolutely true with everything else you mentioned. I was wondering just today whether the recent ICE pushes have driven up need for social services because they are not showing up for work. I just read today that remittances to Mexico are down 16% for last month. Year on year the money going to Mexico is down substantially. It is either due to self deportations or the fact they are not showing up for work. I also think some employers are starting to get the message about doing better due diligence with their hiring practices. The fines are starting to hurt. Good!
I guarantee you, the demoncraps will take credit for falling crime rates.
